Advantages
Increases glass durability Complies with Workplace regulations (reg 14) Allows the upgrade of existing glazed areas. Recommended by crime prevention officers. Approved by some insurers for better security (dependant on company). Protection from glass in the event of breakage / explosion.

Safety Films
Clear safety films – hold glass together in the event of breakage. Used as an economical alternative to toughened or laminated glass. Meets BS 6262 and BS 6206:81 classes A.B.C. Widely used in schools, pool areas, factories, offices etc. Reduces clean-up costs.
Security Films
Security films make it more difficult to breakthrough. Ideal for low level glazing that is prone to attack. Multi laminated films offer a better impact dilution rate than thicker single – ply films. Meets BS 5544 parts 1,2,3.
Bomb Blast Films
Home Office Guidelines “Bombs – Protecting People And Property” recommends the installation of window film in all types of accommodation as a way of minimising the risk of injury due to flying glass, as most casualties in terrorist attacks result from flying glass.
